Cooper is now Two Months Old!!

I can't believe that it has been two months already! Man time flies fast, except when you are extremely sleep deprived. Cooper is a very happy baby and is smiling tons and cooing more and more each day. He has a lot to say. I like to brag that he is a mama's boy but I say that it is about time that I get one all to myself! :) Some say that he looks just like Carter and Travis but he definitely has his own sweet personality. He absolutely loves Carter and Kabien. Every time they talk to him he smiles big and curls up in a ball. He is already rolling to his sides whether it is intentional or not he sure wants to be big. People keep asking if we plan on having anymore and right now I am saying we are done, but we will see what happens in three years. It sure is fun having a baby in the house again but you forget how many diapers you go through in one day!!

Just taking a Break

If you couldn't guess already, yes that is Carter laying in the dirt. My kind mother decided to come and spice up my backyard with some plants and bushes. (Thanks Mom!) So she, Kabien, Josh, myself, My Dad, Carter, and a little of Travis (he was busy doing other things)...(Travis here, I was working in the vineyard. Just thought you would all like to know.) worked hard at digging up the back yard. Carter decided he was going to take a break. I don't know why he chose that spot when there was grass, the sidewalk, or even a couch inside the house, but I guess all his hard work got to him and he thought he would just lay where he was. Nice choice crazy little kid! :)

Kabien & the Tooth Fairy

As some of you know we are going through the fun stage of the Tooth Fairy. Kabien is loosing teeth very fast and when that first tooth came out I thought he was going to pass out when he saw the blood. (My son gets a little faint when he sees blood) But that night the magic tooth fairy came with a dollar and a note. When Kabien woke up he was sooo excited he thought that it would be really neat to start pulling out all his teeth! As you can see from this picture when Kabien sets his mind to something he really goes all out to get it. His first tooth was a bottom tooth and within a week 3 of his top teeth were missing and so was 2 of his bottom teeth. When I investigated some more I realized that he was pulling on his teeth to come out instead of waiting til they were extremely or even semi loose. He would just pull as hard as he could several times before one came out. OUCH!!! We finally had to tell him that the Tooth Fairy would not be allowed in the house if he continued to do that to his teeth. Oh the joys of parenthood!!

Look Mom...I'm like Dad!

I was again taking picture of the boys when Carter decided to show me how he was like dad. He told me that he was going to be a big boy like dad soon. That he will be able to run like dad, and jump like dad, and even eat like dad. So needless to say Cooper was on the bed when Carter decided to say, "Mom look I'm like Dad!" There he was pretending to be asleep just like his Dad. Very Cute!!

Three Loving Boys?

I just had to post these. I was taking these pictures of the boys together and for some reason Carter decided he was going to do a special pose. Now we see his true colors and feelings towards his brothers. Can we say Anger Management!? :)

A Day with Ryan and Carter

A lot has happen in January...

Alot has happen in January. As you can see we had Cooper Jack Mitchell January 28th, 2009. He was five days late and has been making up for it ever since. JK! Cooper is a very mellow baby and just loves to be held, to eat, and listen to his brothers play. Carter is still skinny, just like Travis, but getting bigger and smarter everyday. He loves to dress up like Superman and a Ninja Turtle on a daily basis and loves to "Help Mom" by shoving Coopers pacifier in his mouth even when he doesn't want it. Carter follows Kabien every where and tries to be just as big as his brother, but when Kabien is doing something he doesn't like he yells, "Your in big Trouble!!" or "Go to your room" or "Time out mister!" Hmmmm I wonder where he learns all that.?... Kabien is just becoming such a little man! I just want to put a bunch of books on him to make him stop growing! He was also loosing teeth left and right. As you can see he had lost three teeth in less than two days! Come to find out he was actually yanking out his teeth before they were completely ready to come out. When we asked him why his response was, "I do it because the Tooth Fairy brings me a dollar and I like the dollar." I think we have trained him well. :) He loves to play with Carter, most of the time, and has just recently learned how to ride his bike with no training wheels. Thanks to Grandpa saying I am to old to run with you, you are just going to have to do it. And guess what he did!!! Way to go Kabien!! He is doing really well in school and is in the top 5 of his class. Soon he is going to out smart us! We are very proud of our family and are thankful to have each other each and every day. We are also thankful for all of your help and support and love each and everyone of you very much! Thanks for everything!! Love, US
